One of the most competitive games of the tournament, the ASU Vixen never went away as Florida kept scoring. Ultimately it wasn’t enough for Olivia Salzman #9 and Brittney Jabot #6. Defensively, Jayci Grosso #15 was all over the field for the Gators. Still, it was a great tournament for ASU’s quarterback Jacie Klose #5 and Shannon Thompson #2. Great efforts both ways and a great flag football game!
Possibly the best game of the day, with a score of 13-12 at halftime. This one was a real nail-biter. NC A&T’s Vernell Mackey #3 caught a touchdown pass from Julian Stephens Jr #5 to bring the score to NC A&T 19 over Georgia College 13. Georgia College’s Michael Lahood #13 made three key sacks and multiple quarterback pressures to put NC A&T away at the end.
The ASU IM Legends were silenced by ASU Troll Tide in their 4:30 semifinal contest. Troll Tide had a standout player in Kenzi Huseman #11 who came up with four pivotal sacks in the game. Xavier Sanchez#2 also had two interceptions and a touchdown that shaped the game into the crushing feat that it was.
