It was a gorgeous start to the morning in Wichita, as the sun spilled over the plains and teams poured onto the courts. With hopeful hearts and no shortage of fans, our participants were eager to get the second day of the tournament underway.

The North Carolina A&T Lady Aggies and Angelo State Vixens battled it out in the Women’s Intramural Division. The Vixens led by Jacie Klose, who had 10 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and three steals, won the game 33 – 29. It came down to the wire, but the Vixens hit clutch free throws that helped them secure the win.

In the Men’s Club Division, Wisconsin Red took on the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks (SFA). At the half, Wisconsin led 38 – 23, and SFA closed the gap the second half. They weren’t able to make the comeback, but it still made for a great game as Wisconsin pulled off a 65 – 60 victory. In a stunning performance, Tianen Chen led the Badgers to victory with 31 points, 1 rebound, and 1 steal.

In the Men’s Intramural Division, Stephen F. Austin overcame the University of Central Florida 65 – 52. Led by Tyler Zivney, with 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal, the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks intramural team pulled ahead in the second half to win the game.
