Mid-morning games left us with no shortage of drama or suspense. As we watched with bated breath, teams launched last second drives, shots, and heaves that teams hoped would send their team to bracket play. We’ve had a great morning so far with tough competition, that will no doubt carry into the afternoon.
In the Women’s Club Division, Gonzaga and Saint Louis University took their game to overtime. In an intense match-up, Gonzaga overcame Saint Louis University in overtime 35 – 32. Jenny Hagle had 9 points, 1 rebound, and 1 steal as she led her team to victory.
In the Unified Division, Colorado State and MSU Texas battled it out on the court. Partners and athletes came together for a competitive game. Although the MSU Texas Mustangs played tough, Colorado State came out victorious 51 – 32. Dion Herrington led the team as the MVP of the game with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist.
In the Men’s Intramural Division, Missouri S&T enjoyed a sizable victory over UAFS. Missouri S&T came out strong and played tough throughout the game. Nathan Fox led the team with 23 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Missouri S&T defeated UAFS – Liquid Water 73 – 47.
