Friday 2:30pm Recap – Vying for Playoffs

The afternoon is rolling along, with the temperatures holding steady and the sun continuing to shine on all of our participants.  We are getting closer to playoff draws, and that means teams are working hard to ensure their playoff spots, whether it be for position or just to advance.  Lots of action this hour as we report the 2:30pm game scores:

Men’s

Missouri-Kansas City – 44
UCF – 22

HIGHLIGHT GAME
High Point – 25
Tartelon State – 9

High Point exerted themselves early and often to get the win over Tarleton State.  Aleah Wendels carried High Point with some offensive firepower, throwing for a 9-point touchdown, and running for a 9-point touchdown to shoulder the majority of the scoring.  Matthew Bacigalupo also contributed for High Point with a TD pass and an interception in the win.

Caylee Matocha provided help with the lone score for Tarleton with a touchdown pass.  Jacob Enis, Rylee Hellman, and Studdard James combined for four tackles for loss in the effort.

The next games are set for 4:00pm local time.  After that, we will have the playoff draw for all divisions.
