With clouds hanging low and gray in the sky all afternoon, one wondered whether the weather would hold out for the first hour of games.  While many of the first halves were humid and heavy, no rain fell.  Cue the second half, when a steady drizzle began.  The start of the 2018 #NIRSAFlag National Championship has seen some rain hit the participants, but it did not cool down the action that was happening on the fields.  Here’s a recap of the Thursday 5:00pm games:

Mizzou’s Landon Mouse would lead the cause for Mizzou with two TD passes, one to Drew Norton and one to Morgan Baxter.  Drew Norton would also contribute with two interceptions.  Jacob Parker and Jacori McCoy would contribute to Valdosta State’s win with two TD and one TD pass, respectively.  Tianna Germain would also pitch in with a TD reception.
