Second set of games are in the books.

In the men’s championship division we had a tight battle between ’17 semifinalist Wisconsin and ’17 finalist Cal Poly. Wisconsin used a first half goal to seal a 1-0 victory and take the lead in pool G.

In the women’s championship division ’17 quarterfinalist Michigan played to a comfortable 3-0 win over Texas A&M.  2 Emily Tuner goals helped in the cause as Michigan took the lead in pool F.

In other men’s championship divisions scores, UC Davis defeated UTRGV 1-0 with a late 2nd half goal. Ohio State defeated Delaware 1-0. ’17 open finalist Texas defeated Cincinnati 1-0. Each winner now leads their respective pools.

In other women’s championship division scores, California defeated North Carolina (pictured) 1-0. UC Davis won over Iowa State 6-0. Colorado State and Kansas played to a 0-0 draw.

In the men’s open division, Minnesota defeated High Point 9-1 and Utah Valley earned a forfeit win over Kansas in pool D (NOTE: Kansas will continue in the tournament). In pool E, James Madison defeated Butler 7-0 and UConn defeated Colorado College 9-0.  In pool F, ’17 quarterfinalist UCLA defeated Carnegie Mellon 5-0 and Iowa State defeated Xavier 2-0.
