Second, we’ll see who is here in the men’s open division.
Pool A has 2016 Semifinalist UCLA the highest open finisher from last year. Will the rest of the group featuring 2016 participant Miami (OH), North Carolina-Greensboro and Cornell stop UCLA from advancing that far in 2017?
Pool B contains 2016 participant Texas, Ohio, Denver and Fordham.
Pool C features 2016 participants Illinois “Blue” and Cal State Fullerton. They will be joined by UConn “White” and Minnesota “B”.
Pool D will have teams from Villanova, Missouri, Xavier and the Colorado School of Mines “B”.
Pool E may be the toughest group. It has 2016 Championship Semifinalist San Diego State, Open Quarterfinalist James Madison and Open participant Houston Community College. Colorado “Black” is the 4th team in the group and could be a squad to be reckoned with.
Finally, Pool F has 2016 Open participants Miami (FL) and Colorado-Colorado Springs. Arizona and St. Edwards round-up the group.
There will be a new champion this year. Which squad will take it?
Thursday it begins.
