Men’s Championship Round of 16 Wrap Up Part II

The second half of the Round of 16 games featured many close, tough battles.

Wisconsin scored early in the their match versus Long Beach State and made the lead last to advance to the quarterfinals.

Wisconsin will face Cincinnati later this afternoon.  Cincinnati defeated Utah State with two 2nd half goals.  Blake Pappas scored 2 goals to help lead the Bearcats to a win over Utah State.

Virginia defeated Michigan 1-0 with a late 2nd half goal that propelled them into their quarterfinal match with Delaware.

Delaware defeated Michigan State 1-0 on a first half goal by Jonathan Blumberg.  The lead held up and it will be the Blue Hens and Cavaliers later today in the quarterfinal.
