11:30 am games featured the Women’s Open defending champions UCLA. Like the other defending champions, they also walked away from game one with 3 points.
In pool A, UCLA defeated George Mason 4-0 to open their defense. Iowa also won in the pool with a 3-2 victory over Missouri.
In pool B, Cornell opened with a 6-0 victory over Denver. Virginia Tech had a bye in the pool with a forfeit victory over an absent team.
In pool C, Georgia Tech leads the pool with a 2-0 win over Vermont, while Colorado “Black” and Ohio played to a 1-1 draw.
